The process also refines the grain structure of the steel, significantly enhancing its mechanical properties, including ductility and toughness.

The controlled rolling and cooling sequence ensures uniformity in thickness and width, producing coils ready for diverse industrial applications. The characteristic blue-grey surface finish (mill scale) is a natural outcome of the high-temperature processing.
