Description
304L Stainless Steel Strip
Description: 304L is a low-carbon version of 304 stainless steel, providing better corrosion resistance in welded areas.
Chemical Composition:
Chromium (Cr): 18.0% – 20.0%
Nickel (Ni): 8.0% – 12.0%
Manganese (Mn): ≤ 2.0%
Carbon (C): ≤ 0.03%
Iron (Fe): Balance
Mechanical Properties:
Yield Strength: ≥ 200 MPa
Tensile Strength: ≥ 490 MPa
Elongation: ≥ 40%
Applications: Chemical processing, food and beverage applications, and pressure vessels.
Key Features:
Excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion
Good weldability304L Stainless Steel Strip: Used in applications where the material is welded, as it has a lower carbon content than 304, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion.
