Description
316L Stainless Steel Strip
Description: 316L is a low-carbon version of 316 stainless steel, providing better resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding.
Chemical Composition:
Chromium (Cr): 16.0% – 18.0%
Nickel (Ni): 10.0% – 14.0%
Molybdenum (Mo): 2.0% – 3.0%
Manganese (Mn): ≤ 2.0%
Carbon (C): ≤ 0.03%
Iron (Fe): Balance
Mechanical Properties:
Yield Strength: ≥ 220 MPa
Tensile Strength: ≥ 480 MPa
Elongation: ≥ 40%
Applications: Pharmaceutical, food processing, and marine applications.
Key Features:
Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion
Good weldability316L Stainless Steel Strip: Similar to 316, but with a lower carbon content, making it more suitable for welding and reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion.
